Banishment

Oof. I made this last year, and I have not been able to bring myself to upload it because I am absolutely mortified with it. It's supposed to be fan art for one of my favorite book series of all time, The Deepgate Codex by Alan Campbell. But it was done before I had read through the third and final book, therefore there are some serious flaws in it. I knew there would be, but I just had to get something done in my art class and all I could think about was this series. So I put this together, because my teacher wasn't going to know what I did wrong, it's all in the content of the piece, not the structure.

The only reason I'm putting it up now is because I actually think the composition looks really nice. And hopefully it will serve as a reminder for me to re-do it and get it right in the near future >.>

and if you haven't read those books, you should. RIGHT NOW. They are so great and creatively unique and just plain awesome and epic.

[[Anyway, if I ever re-do it, I'll give ya'll more info on the characters then, but right now I'm still kinda embarrassed about all the stuff I didn't quite get right ;_; ...]]
